Hot Food

 

Hello people today our hub had to think of a poem that Micheal Rosen and I choose hot food.

 On the 20th of May 2021 we went to Margret Mahey and we had a great opportunity to look around it and go to Victoria square. First I went to Victoria Square. We walked from Margret Mahey to Victoria Square and we saw the river and this really cool thing that sprayed out water. We had to place our bags in a place close to a poe so big it was like ten times bigger than me. Mrs Brown let us explore the circle. I went to a stone that said something about the willow trees and there was one right next to it. I read that thing and went to another two poes shaped like a waka. We all went to look at them and there were some creepy faces. When Mrs Brown told us to come back we had to draw some pictures of what the massive poe looked like. When we were done we got to eat. When we were done we had to look at 2 statues one was Captain Cook and the other one was QueenVictoria. After that we went to the next rotation,

My favourite part of the trip was: the eels because I was allowed to feed them and how they suck the food in.

Something I learnt was: How to paddle on the waka. They told us what we had to do. The instructions were paddle up paddle down 45 degrees up and ready and paddle and chant hi ha hi ha.

The thing I found the most interesting was: That all the patterns on the ground mean different things and that some of them are stories or songs in Maori.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because: I learnt more and that the playground was named by Margret Mahy and that now I can tell my parents all about it.

Doubling and halfing

 My favourite Lego activity was Mosaiahia because I was able to do whatever I wanted with my creation.

My least favourite Lego activity was The one where we switched creations because we had to switch our creation every couple minutes and it comes out like something you dont want it to be.

The activity that tested my perseverance the most was Mosaiahia because it showed me all the differnt unique patterns.

The most challenging activity was the one where you had to switch because it was hard to know what to do with the other people's creations.

I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because we got to talk with eachother while we did it.

My Athletic Training

 Hey bloggers today I did Athletics practise and today (so you know what day it was) is the 24 September 2021. Today we did high jump but not many people had a turn because there was a line so the year 6's witch is me we did long jump first we all had three jumps each. After that the year 6's went to high jump and it was really hard and you might think this is silly but I could not do the scissor thing. So that was the end of my athletic training for today.

Why people should not litter

 People littering

I am against people littering. And I will explain. I will show you 7 interesting and reasons not to litter

1. If people would be littering all over our environment, our water that's in lakes, ponds and in creeks would be destroyed and filthy. 

2. Littering can cause pollution and make it harder to breathe. 

3. Litter on and alongside the road causes traffic accidents. 

4. It causes health problems and causes harm or injury to people because of the pollution it can choke you with the smoke of bad air like smoking.

5. It affects wildlife and could possibly kill some of the poor creatures unfortunately.

6. And if the police see you lettering you will need to pay a fine of 100 - 400 hundred dollars.

7. It can also give a higher possibility of causing fires and killing people.

So this is why I am against people littering. There are really good facts for people to look at so they don't cause this crime. The people who litter you guys are horrible people to the environment. It probably doesn't like you, but the people who actually take  good care of the environment you guys should deserve a reward. I also found a quote on the internet that tells you why you should not litter so you guys can believe me here you go. 

“Littering is a crime, but they are not enforcing the law. We need to educate the youths on why littering is bad and the effect litter has on neighbourhoods”.

School bans sugary things

 Hey guys im back after awile but I am going to have a debate about school bans junk food. Hope you enjoy.

School bans sugary things.

I am against the idea that school should ban sugary things.

The reason I think they should be allowed to bring is because moro bars

or powerades can give you a lot of energy. Another reason is because

obviously they taste amazing no matter if you drink or eat. And next is

because you can have freedom on what you bring,because your parents

might put things that you don't like (if they do your lunch) but when you

do your own lunch you can have things that you actually enjoy eating.

You can also have a balanced diet. For example, you can have one apple

or fruit and you can have a chocolate bar that is kind of like a dessert. It is

actually sometimes good to have chocolate instead of vegetables or fruit

because you can't always have the same kind of food all the time so on

some occasions it is good to eat something different. So that is why I

am against school baning sugar school.

Tumu Teams Birthday Months

 

Today we were doing the birthdays from people in our hub in graphs. We had to copy a document and there were the birthdays already on there, so then we had to highlight and find a good graph to use, after we had to do that we had to name our graph horizontally vertically and at the top - that's the title. After that we had to check our setting and put it in our math's folder. Then we had to do it all again. As you could probably see there is only one person in the entire hub who has a birthday in July and out of 98 people and April has the most birthdays in the hub.

My Birthday

 

Chapter one: My birthday

My birthday was on Easter Sunday. Me and my mum were playing sonic for 6 hours to be honest with you,We were trash but we did our best. We completed like 10 Levels in those hours.. Then we got bored so we went for a walk. On the walk we saw lots of red poisonous mushrooms. There were lots of mushrooms there were black ones and red  ones, brown ones and some disgusting ones, last of all split and torn apart mushrooms. We saw a lot of pretty sites .After The 2 hour walk I played sonic for about another half an hour then we had dinner and we had burgers. They were made by my favourite person  in the house,my dad. After dinner I was so lazy I  went to play sonic for another 2 hours. After Playing Sonic I got very bored so I watched Netflix on the TV. I Really wanted to watch wild kratts but My sister wanted to watch  pj mask, But I was like no it’s my birthday not yours. So I told my sister just uhh go and play on the Ipad. My sister once in a while actually abied me. So she went off to play on It “ well I guess I can have the whole day to  myself watching wild kratts. 

Chapter two: Moving on 

Then I got bored of watching wild Kratts so then I went on youtube and  watched two youtubers who are called w2s and mm7games. I watched w2s the most because he plays fifa. Mm7games plays fortnite. I enjoy watching both. I also watched some guys called chrismd and stopde but I only watched two videos from them. I could watch them for as long as I wanted. My mom doesn't like w2s so when she comes in I change it to mm7games because she thinks that he Is funny but I don't really bother they're both pretty good. When mm7games plays fortnite he normally has a buddy to help him. The other guy who helps him Is called Wiz, he has a banana character In fortnite. Mm7games has a fish character In fortnite. I also watched mm7games and played fifa but there weren't many videoś . Now I probably prefer watching the fifa.

Chapter three: players

In his squad he has 99 messi 97 benzema and we might be here for a while a (few moments later) . I gave up all the players who were over 90 rated including bench and reserves. When he played he won three games and lost two games. Every time he won he had to open a 100 k pack. In the first two tries he got bad picks but the last pack he got a  90 rated center back, and for some reason he complained because their were 94 rated and over and those were the good ones like Ronaldo ,Messi ,Lewondoski, Werner, Mane,kroos , humels rashford ,smalling ,vela and other good players like that.

Chapter four: learning about players

My favourite player on his team is 99 rated messi because every time he took a shot he always scored and when he shot he either hit the corners or hit the crossbar or the posts to go in. But I've got a lot of others that I like. For example Benzema is really good at shooting but nearly all the time he trips over the goalkeeper. There is also Zidane. He is basically like Benzema but there is one thing that Zidane does but Benzema doesn't, Zidane scores most of his goals outside the box. Ronaldo Is a beast he can do a rainbow flick over the goalkeeper there is also a move that Ronaldo invented and is called the Ronaldo flick . He is also really good at hitting the top corners. Next one is Werner,he is not that good at staying back at centre mid but he is the best nutmegger.  Now we have Kroos, he is possibly the best midfielder in his team, he is a really good skiller, he can do the rainbow flick, the heel to heel the roulette and the other good skillś. Now Lewandoski is near enough the best player in fifa, most likely in the top five players. I´ve got nothing to say about this guy. He is just unbelievably stupidly a good player. A couple more centuryś later I still have no idea what to say about him so we should move to the next player, wait no we should definitely go to the next player. Next on the money is o mane mane. So mane is probably the best left winger. He has a lot of pace and an incredible amount of shooting. He has not missed a single shot. After Mane we have Hummel's,Hummel's is a great defender he even stopped 99 Pele in a match  from scoring a goal and has header-ed and clearances the ball away from the goal box so he is a spectacular player. Next Maldini he is an amazing defender and is an icon he is just unstoppable. Next Marcus Rashford he is a 94 rated left mid he might not be able to score goals but he is fast and great at assisting/crossing. Next is Smalling he plays for Manchester Utd and is a 94 rated card he is top like all the other players I named. Carlos Vela is a 96 rated card and is a right winger, he is fast, good at assisting and crossing and he can score a large amount of amazing goals. And that is the end of mm7games and that was the end of my birthday.

This week we were learning how to use broad range of

strategies to solve multiplication and division and make the

equation easier. do you think that it would be easier if you did

276 and divide it by 3=92

you could just take of the 6 of the 276 to make 270 and then

you divide 6 by 3 witch = 2 and then divide the 270 by 3=90 and

then 90+2=92 and thats your final answer.
